Bobby Nielsen

Bobby Nielsen is the PCR representative in the extreme Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica. He first came to Costa Rica in 1993 and as so often happens to first time visitors, he soon became enamored with the friendly people, the rich culture and the incredible natural beauty of the country.

Bobby was involved in the Proprietary Higher Education world for over 25 years in the United States and as a result has many years of experience working one on one with diverse groups of people. He is a service oriented individual who takes great pleasure in helping others to realize their dreams. By sharing his knowledge and experience he has guided many newcomers to Costa Rica through the process of searching for and securing quality properties that fit their needs and desires.

Bobby and his wife Gayle moved to Costa Rica full time in the year 2000. Having fallen in love with the pristine natural environment of the Southern Pacific coast, they decided to settle there. From 2000 until 2002 they operated a Bed and Breakfast which catered to family vacationers, naturalists, surfers and those who were looking to spend some time off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle of the modern day world. Having become familiar with the area and seeing a need for an ethical and knowledgeable real estate presence, he opened Pavones Properties in 2003.

In 2010 Bobby was made aware of the similar ethical and professional standards of Properties in Costa Rica and was happy to form a partnership with Arturo Guzman and become the Properties in Costa representative in the Southern Pacific Region. Being fortunate enough to network with the local population of Costa Ricans and foreigners alike, Bobby has built a reputation as the “Go to guy” in Pavones and the Southern Zone in general. If you come to Pavones be sure to stop by his office, or if you see the “Gone Surfing!” Sign in the window, just walk over to the beach and you will find him riding the waves or chatting with friends and visitors who gather to watch the spectacular evening sunsets that grace those fortunate enough to have found the little paradise he calls home.
