The visitors are Prince Akishino and his wife Princess Kiko. Japan had done a lot in recent years for Costa Rica and it looks as if they do not plan on slowing down.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2> Japanese Contributions to Costa Rica <\/h2>\n<p><meta equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text\/html;charset=UTF-8\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Three reasons for celebration were mentioned and environmentalist I have a feeling where celebrating also. The first reason was a $9 million dollar agreement with Costa Rica&#8217;s Institute of Electricity for a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.propertiesincostarica.com\/2010\/11\/renewable-energy-costa-rica.html\">project on solar power<\/a>. Let&#8217;s not forget that Costa Rica still plans to <\/div>\n<p><meta equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text\/html;charset=UTF-8\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_tAd3z3OioEg\/TUFoCil9vOI\/AAAAAAAAAE8\/7ZiTCfSc-ys\/s320\/japanese_1.jpg\" style=\"float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566845007261711586\" \/><\/p>\n<div>be the first carbon neutral country by it&#8217;s 200th year anniversary 2021. The second w<\/div>\n<p><meta equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text\/html;charset=UTF-8\"><\/p>\n<div>as an $8 million dollar boost to work on preserving more forest areas. Last but not least which I can imagine will only help the future of <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.propertiesincostarica.com\/2010\/11\/costa-rica-real-estate.html\">Costa Rican real estate<\/a> and just overall development of the country is a $130 million dollars for the Central Valley sewer project.<\/div>\n<div><meta equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text\/html;charset=UTF-8\"><br \/>\n<\/div>\n<div>There are a number of other things the Japanese have helped with in recent years but these were some of the big contributions that will surely leave a positive impact on all of Costa Rica for years to come.
