If<\/span> you<\/span> visit<\/span> La Sabana park<\/span> on<\/span> a Saturday<\/span> or<\/span> Sunday<\/span> you<\/span> will<\/span> notice<\/span> that<\/span> Costa Rican<\/span>‘s are open<\/span> to<\/span> almost<\/span> any<\/span> type<\/span> of<\/span> organized<\/span> sport<\/span>. The<\/span> La Sabana park<\/span> has everything<\/span> from<\/span> basketball<\/span>, gymnastics<\/span>, boxing<\/span>, speed<\/span> skating<\/span>, and<\/span> much<\/span> more. Costa Rica in<\/span> the<\/span> recent<\/span> months<\/span> is<\/span> home<\/span> to<\/span> two<\/span> athletes<\/span> that<\/span> have<\/span> not<\/span> only<\/span> put<\/span> themselves<\/span> on<\/span> the<\/span> map<\/span> but<\/span> are making<\/span> a name<\/span> for<\/span> Costa Rica in<\/span> sports<\/span> other<\/span> than<\/span> soccer<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

If<\/span> you<\/span> have<\/span> not<\/span> heard<\/span> the<\/span> names<\/span> already<\/span> they<\/span> are a young<\/span> man<\/span> named<\/span> Nery<\/span> Brenes and<\/span> a 27 year<\/span> old<\/span> women<\/span> from<\/span> Limon<\/span> named<\/span> Hanna<\/span> Gabriel. Nery<\/span> is<\/span> Costa Rica’s fastest<\/span> person<\/span> being<\/span> a track<\/span> and<\/span> field<\/span> dominance<\/span> on<\/span> an<\/span> international<\/span> level<\/span>. Hanna<\/span> is<\/span> one<\/span> girl<\/span> who<\/span> you<\/span> do not<\/span> want<\/span> to<\/span> get<\/span> in<\/span> road<\/span> rage<\/span> with<\/span> or<\/span> a bar fight<\/span>. She<\/span> is<\/span> Costa Rica’s world<\/span> championship<\/span> boxer<\/span> and<\/span> she<\/span> surely<\/span> fits<\/span> the<\/span> profile<\/span>.<\/div>\n

Hanna Gabriel <\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

Hanna<\/span> Gabriel comes from<\/span> a family<\/span> of<\/span> athletes<\/span>. Her<\/span> father<\/span> is<\/span> a promoter<\/span> of<\/span> boxing<\/span> and<\/span> she<\/span> only<\/span> got<\/span> into<\/span> boxing<\/span> to<\/span> try<\/span> and<\/span> lose some<\/span> weight<\/span> and<\/span> she<\/span> ended<\/span> up<\/span> being<\/span> the<\/span> world<\/span> champ<\/span>. Her<\/span> brother<\/span> plays<\/span> in<\/span> Costa Rica’s professional<\/span> soccer<\/span> league<\/span>. She<\/span> holds<\/span> a record<\/span> of<\/span> 11 wins<\/span> and<\/span> 1 tie<\/span>. Her<\/span> weight<\/span> clase has here<\/span> competing<\/span> at<\/span> around<\/span> 155lbs<\/span>. They<\/span> are starting<\/span> to<\/span> televise here<\/span> fights<\/span> on<\/span> TV<\/span> here<\/span> in<\/span> Costa Rica and<\/span> it<\/span> is<\/span> quite the<\/span> treat<\/span> to<\/span> watch<\/span> this<\/span> women<\/span> fight<\/span>. She looks as if she is in perfect shape and is a very beautiful young lady who might have a career in modeling after she finishes punching people in the face.<\/div>\n

Nery Brenes<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Nery<\/span> Brenes is<\/span> a 25 year<\/span> old<\/span> also<\/span> from<\/span> the<\/span> province<\/span> of<\/span> Limon<\/span> who<\/span> competes on<\/span> the<\/span> international<\/span> level<\/span> of<\/span> track<\/span> in<\/span> field<\/span> running<\/span> the<\/span> 400 mts<\/span> which<\/span> is<\/span> one of the most competitive events<\/span> on<\/span> the<\/span> planet<\/span>. Nery<\/span>‘s running<\/span> has taken<\/span> him<\/span> on<\/span> a tour<\/span> around<\/span> the<\/span> world<\/span> visiting<\/span> Germany<\/span>, Puerto Rico, Japan<\/span>, China, Spain<\/span>, and<\/span> many<\/span> more on<\/span> the<\/span> list<\/span> to<\/span> come. He has won<\/span> gold<\/span> on<\/span> numerous<\/span> events<\/span> and<\/span> has the<\/span> Olympics<\/span> in<\/span> sight<\/span> to<\/span> run<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span> world’s<\/span> fastest<\/span>.<\/div>\n
