The property is located almost perfectly in between Uvita & Ojochal. Take your pick of some of the areas finest beaches: Playa Pinuelas, Ventanas & Arco (just to name a few) just minutes away. This is the area where whales can be seen just by standing on the beach at select times of the year.
Despite the tourism appeal of the area, you feel very much removed from it all when you are at home on this property. You can relax in the immersive jungle setting (see video). The access is about 3 minutes off of the coastal highway. 2 wheel drive will get you there, but 4 wheel drive is recommended for the area. Once you get down to the coastal highway, you can go left or right to the beach of your choice. The beaches are great for surfing, kayaking, cave exploration (Ventanas beach) and book reading in a hammock. Uvita is about 10 minutes to the north of this property and Ojochal is about the same to the south.
This is an excellent value in an ocean view property. Most ocean view properties start at $100,000 and go up from there. The ocean view is a window view out to the Roca Ballena and makes for a lovely vista.
"Whale Rock" is a great entry level property for a family or as a second property option to build and manage as an income generating rental property.
