Great deal jungle land, ideal for a farm project or a jungle lodge 20 minutes drive to the beach.
These 8 hectares (19.5 acres) are part of a 20 hectares property. The property is located 6 km (3.7 miles) to one of the most beautiful beaches in the South Caribbean, Punta Uva beach.
In order to access the land from the public road, an easement of 270m (885 feet) needs to be done, which is included in the price. The 8 hectares are in the back part of the 20 hectares.
It is mainly flat, with overgrown secondary forest and some big trees. It has a small hill and on one of the borders, there is a small portion that is swampy because of a possible spring. This swampy area could be dedicated to dig a water well, or to excavate a pond for fish or for waterlilies; it all depends on your design, creativity and vision.
It is also located 30 minutes drive to the border with Panamá, where you can visit the famous Bocas del Toro islands.
Emergency clinic, basic supermarket and fire station are 10 minutes drive.
The neighborhood is quiet and the vibes are countryside. Some horses, some cattle, fruit trees, and small and medium farms.
Electricity and fiber optic internet connections are right in front of the property. For the water you would need to perforate or dig a well, which is the common procedure in the area.
